I sign this petition not because I want Jeva back, they have been ruined by the current writing but I sign to protest the unbelievable pairing of Reva's sister and her husband. I loved Jeva and to think that Reva would ever want Josh back or ever forgive her Crassie sister is beyond belief. I resent the total destruction of Jeva and the Shayne/Layne sister relationship. The Crash relationship is wrong on all levels and there is no redemption for either Joshua or the Crass one. EVER! |

I've been watching for over 12 years and I have never EVER (on any soap) hated a couple this much. Usually when I dislike a couple it's because they are boring...not because I find watching their scenes together even more disturbing than blood, guts and gore...that IS what I equate their love scenes with.
I FF thru every scene they have...this idea that they are now suddenly and insta-family is seriously grating my nerves. What is the worst is I feel the writers are TRYING to do everything they can to win over fans for this couple. Usually when I dislike a character it's because they are meant to be disliked. I have never felt like a character or couple was being FORCED on me...but that is how I feel about them. So many people I've talked to feel the same way...yet they are continued to push for us to believe they have something real. I would understand if they had a lot of fans...but the few fans they do have are in a VERY SMALL MINORITY. So who's agenda is being pushed? Many people have stopped watching because of this crap.
REAL Cassie would have NEVER gotten with her sister's man. REAL Reva would have never stood back and supported it or even pretended to be ok with it. AND REAL JOSH would have never chosen CAssie over the love of his life. Not buying it...why is this still going on? It's a complete rewrite of everything I've seen on my screen over the past years...not just the "love story" of Jeva but also of all the players in this s/l.
In the end I come out hating Josh, hating Cassie...and longing for the day that Reva jumps up and beats the crap out of her supposed one time sister. I could go on about how self righteous Cassie is being written, how stupid they have had to make Josh to make this work...and how wrong it is for Josh and Cassie to walk around like they never did anything wrong...but I think I've wasted enough of my time raging on about this horrible couple.
The sad fact is I'm starting to feel like Guiding Light is a big waste of time also. |
