I urge you to hear the voice of students calling for justice. Hate crimes are not to be ignored, as they are ignorance manifested. Perhaps, you deem the acts offensive to Muslim students at Pace petty, but the truth is they are both hurtful and should be treated seriously. If the perpetrators are not punished for what they have done, then they will not hesitate to offend and hurt other student organizations.

| 50 | Melody | I actually know the president of the MSA at pace. I think it is so inconsiderate that there were no cameras outside the prayer room. I also think that the guards that sit outside and swipe prayer room users in are very careless. Just because they recognize you as a member of the university family or even of a particular organization is not sufficient for the guard NOT to swipe you in. Such carelessness has caused not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but FIVE hate crimes. It is very displeasing to hear about such crimes. |
