Comments: There is absolutely no good reason to require next day shipping for hatching eggs! The US Post Office doesnt even require overnight shipping for chicks and ducklings! Eggs are in a suspended condition for 2-3 WEEKS after being laid. The chicken/duck doesnt even sit on them for at least a week and often two. This new rule is based on nothing but a total lack of knowledge when it comes to hatching eggs! Ridiculous!

Comments: This is crazy and a sure bet to drive people to using egg.com or other sites to sell thier eggs. E-Bay better think hard and long before instituting rules that will do nothing but drive people and business away...

Comments: There is no need for overnight shipping of hatching eggs. From the day the egg is layed to 14 days after they're safe to use for hatching. Overnight shipping is an overkill. Rodney L. Haefs

Comments: I am an ebay member for many years. I have made numerous purchases of hathcing eggs. The past shipping methods have proved OK to me. I cannot understand the need for such costly new shipping methods being enforced now. I urge Ebay staff to review their decision and EXPLAIN WHY this was enforced AND consider going back to the old way... priority USPS as being acceptable.

Comments: I make my living farming. I raise endangered domestic species of poultry. My birds are inspected and blood tested annually as a National Poultry Improvement Participating Farm. My farm is inspected and my egg washiung area is inspected yearly. If I can not sell my eggs, I will be selling my flocks. There are other items on ebay that have restrictions, Why can't they just say, "No Selling Of Eggs to Countries outside fof the USA" Can this country make farming any more difficult Kate Morreale, farmer.

Comments: eBay frequently changes, insitutes, or adjusts rules according to their whims. These changes are often arbitrary, and often seem designed to benefit their corporation and their profits, rather than those individuals who, through buying and selling, built the company into what it is today. I heartily disapprove of this rule, and ask that it be removed.

Comments: eggs are good for 10 days as hatching eggs, your hurting your business and making other's go to other auction sites also. just like you wanted to shutdown half. com. i would rethink the policy 800+ listings is alot of loss, you can put it back the way it was, i trust your $ judgement.

Comments: To send eggs overnight express is too costly and since most overnight express go by air this can cuase air cell damages to the eggs in affect making them unhatchable. Priority which takes 2 to 3 days is the recomended way of shipping hatching eggs to insure the best hatch rate. Since this is the NORMAL method of shipping hatching eggs, Ebay is in affect causing loss to sellers since the overnight express charges are extremely high- buyers wont want to pay for that, and to buyers who DO try to get them overnight express they will have a less hatch rate if any hatch at all..if those eggs are shipped by air...

Comments: This is just another MORONIC and typical sneaky way of the government (USPS) to bring in revenue that is UNDESERVED and UNEARNED. EBay needs to get a clue, HATCHING eggs are NOT eating eggs and it is NOT needed to send them overnight with reasoning of being 'food' NOR should listings be cancelled because EGGS are not live animals and live animals ARE LEGAL to ship! GET A CLUE, BUY A VOWEL EBay! Of course......let me speak in a manner in which USPS and EBay will BOTH understand. What you want is MONEY, start letting the hatching eggs auctions go through and quit making idiotic rules because there are OTHER animal specific and hatching egg specific auctions sites!! DUH
