• You support the use of the Old Library building at 7 Fairbank Street expressly as a cultural and/or community scenter.
• You request that the Board of Selectmen (BOS) Expedite the proceess of releasing a "Request for Proposals" (RFP) so that the structure does not go vacant this winter.

Why a petition?

• This petition was created in response to some BOS members' continuing reluctance to decide a use for the building once the Council on Aging moves back to the Hildreth House in (approximately) November 2016. The petition also serves as a request for the BOS to issue the RFP in August 2016 instead of October 2016.
