We the students of Harrington College of Design, petition the school for lockers on the third, fourth and fifth floors. As most of the students commute to school and do not live close, we must bring all equipment and supplies with us. This means that if a student has two or three class during a day they must carry everything with them the whole day and we the students, should have a place to put our belongings between classes, or so that we may run and grab something to eat without having to carry all of the equipment with us. It would not only help the students that have to bring all of their supplies, but it would also help medically. Some of this equipment is heavy and cumbersome and to haul it around all day without relief is not good for students.
We know that the school does not want lockers because of the aesthetics of having lockers; however, we the students feel that since our school is "Design" based that the students could come up with a design that would make the lockers not appear as lockers.

Laura Weber, United States4 years ago Comments: I am one of the many students who have a long commute and have found it to be unproductive at times when I have to carry everything with me. I used a rolling backpack last semester, but not everything fits in it so a locker would be a wonderful perk to attending Harrington
