Omar Khadr was a 15 year old citizen of Canada, in Iraq with his family when he attacked some of the invading US soldiers and was wounded and imprisoned in Guantanimo Bay for his crimes. Now, for seven years without a trial or any contact with the outside world, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper refuses to speak to U.S President Barack Obama regarding releasing Khadr back to his family in Canada, where he will stand an official trial. Please sign this petition if you believe Harper should speak to Obama on this issue! They will be meeting on February 17th in Ottawa, and we must try and make a stand!
