Most Canadians 55 to 63 years of age have worked since they were 13 to 15 years old. Harper now wants to change our old age pension accessablity date to 67 years of age and next it would be 70!?.... Before we can draw our retirement funds from the Old Age Security Program..... The Government says that the reason is they have too many baby boomers starting to collect and the Government is running out of money. Maybe they are running out of money because the Government officals give themselves raises yet stop the taxpayer's from getting raises. Maybe they are running out of money due to the fact that they get pensions after a short time in office, far before they are 65 years old and of course the amounts they give themselves for pensions is huge. Maybe they should cut back on Government in house spending, eg. trips. Harper should not get any bill passed about changing our old age pension accessability age. If anything they should lower it and stop so many baby boomers from leaving Canada to an area of lower cost of living. Sign this and say "NO" to raising our old age pension accessability to 67 years old. Say yes to stopping the MLA's from drawing any pension until they are 65 and to decrease the amounts they get.
