Comments: The Hare & Hounds is the most important venue in Birmingham for nurturing local musical talent. Any necessity to limit the noise coming out of such a venue would seriously affect the quality of the music that audiences have come to expect of it, and would be a huge blow to the Birmingham creative scene!

Comments: Venues like the Hare and Hounds define neighbourhood. Shutting them down leaves cloned high streets full of multi-national businesses with no connection to the community, and removes the few places where neighbours become friends.

Comments: Just what we need, the one place in King Heath that brings in something different to the other chain pubs, jepodised for the sake of a block of flats. Why don't you build your sodding flats on the number of unused buildings or various poundshops that make Kings Heath a bloody disgrace!

Comments: This is the third venue providing amazing nightlife that this will happen to in 3 years in Birmingham. It would be a shame to lose such an excellent venue to noise complaints due to a new build, damaging the culture within the borough that people have worked so hard to achieve for the public.

Comments: The Hare and Hounds is a great asset to the community within Kings Heath. It provides a much needed space for arts and cultural and the trade that it attracts to the area from outside has had the knock on effect of helping other new businesses successfully start up in the area, It would be fool hardy to jeopardise a successful business, which brings a phenomenal contribution to Kings Heath, both economically, socially and culturally, for one flat.
