Name: Emma Dowling on Dec 7, 2012Comments: This is a historical pub. The heritage of the pub needs to be valued, not just ignored for the sake of quick money through cheap accomodation. Too many pubs have suffered due to music restrictions, do not not let this be another. It brings money and people into Kings Heath, and adds essential vibrancy into the area.Flag

Name: Jeremy Bedford on Dec 7, 2012Comments: We need the Hare and Hounds as a venue. You can build flats by the pub, so long as the pub has the right to play music, for as long as it exists...the pub was here first not the flats...knowing the pub has a licence to put on music until the early hours, no one would buy a flat if they were built, so I suggest this is not a viable option for the use of the land. The Spotted Dog in Digbeth existed way before the new flats were built by it, but somehow that pub got banned from having music events in its garden....the Hare and Hounds must be able to continue to exist, and provide live music to its loyal customers across the UKFlag

Name: Chris Townsend on Dec 7, 2012Comments: A glorious venue, should never be closed. The second biggest city in the UK needs the amount of venues it has if not more, where else will breed new and future talent if not for hard working venues who slog away year after year putting on great gigs and allowing new bands to play nights that they'd never usually get to.Flag

Name: Lewis Wilson on Dec 8, 2012Comments: please don't gut our community anymore, this really is one of the last places for locals to interact. its long been a melting pot of sorts, and with the Jug of Ale closing a few years ago, the local music scene has really taken a dive. its the soul of a community at sake here for a few flats, there must be plenty of other places to put them. why go near somewhere established and ruin it. please respect this is important for a lot of people.Flag
