Name: Andy Price on Dec 3, 2012Comments: Granting planning permission for this would be extremely shortsighted. The Hare & Hounds plays a vital role in the local community hosting credible live music and club night events celebrating the finest local talent and also bringing talent from across the globe to perform in Birmingham. Not to mention the jobs that the venue creates and the pleasure the pub brings to it's daily regulars. Granting this planning permission could bring all of this to an end.Flag

Name: Andrew Hayes on Dec 3, 2012Comments: Live music venues should be respected, anyone who moves into an area known for live music and complains against the noise has a stupid sense of self importance and a vested interest in taking away the civil liberties of the people who frequent the establishments in question. If flats are built undoubtedly on the law of averages there will be some parties that will be against the noise levels. There should be a new law that applies for prospective tenants moving into areas that are known for live music lets them do so at their own jurisdiction and awareness that the area they are moving to will contain high noise levels ,but is up to them to adapt and respect these levels or not to move in at all to the premises. Live music venues are an integral part of the community and also help boost the economy.Flag

Name: Nick Byng on Dec 3, 2012Comments: Adam and co have worked hard to create somewhere for all styles of music and this venue is a brilliant hub for young and old in Birmingham, people travel here from across the city and further afield to get a fix of local music culture. This venue is brilliant for Birmingham, any threat to future events will be opposed by many. Residential buildings near by will be a bad idea and could threaten future music events.Flag
