    Comments: The Hare & Hounds is an essential part of the live music scene in Birmingham and contributes to the local economy. Having seen the effect of bad planning decisions in Digbeth where shoddily built blocks of flats allowed a resident who moved into an apartment to ruin the atmosphere of that area, I have serious concerns about the same issue occurring if this flat is built. The economy of Birmingham is struggling enough without adding to the problems by destroying another part of the live music economy which provides employment and creativity to thrive.
