Between the 4100-4400 block of Harcourt Road, speed bumps or speeding deterrents are urgently needed. There are many small children in those blocks, as well as parked cars that are often nicked or hit. The tree in the front property of 4223 Harcourt Road has been hit three times in two years. This one way street proves to be "short cut" between Parkside and Moravia with cars averaging speeds of 30-50mph. Legal limit is 25mph To ensure that safety of the children and integrity of the neighborhood street speed limits please sign this petition or contact me with any questions. Carl Hendricks, United States7 years ago Comments: Failure to to install speedbumps or take action to curtail the dangerous conditions of the road, with specific regards to children, could and should be considered criminal negligence not only on the part of the individual violators, but of state and local government to control it.
