The petition

This poll attempts to verify the number of people who voted for Pauline Hanson's Maiden Speech in the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's "Most Unforgettable Speeches" Poll conducted in March 2007.

The need for this survey arises from the suspicion that, even if Pauline Hanson was genuinely not the winner, that the results were doctored to exclude all votes recorded for Pauline Hanson's speech.

The ABC has published a "top 20" list of the "winners", and they were announced on Phillip Adam's Radio National Program "Late Night Live" with ex NSW Labour premier Bob Carr as a special guest. The top-20 list was indeed "top heavy" with left wing apologists, and heavily featured Paul Keating's traitorous 1992 "Redfern Speech", and Gough Whitlam's "Dismissal" speech.

This top-20 list was offered without any information as to the number of votes each got. Pauline Hanson's speech was not in the top-20, and, most tellingly, the ABC have refused point blank to release the full list tallying all nominations made and the number of votes they received.

I am not seeking any personal information in this survey, only a raw count of people who nominated Pauline Hanson for this poll (although an email address would be appreciated)- and I promise you would only receive one email as a followup to give you the results of this survey, and the results of a written complaint now lodged with the ABC to "fess up" to the real figures.
