I am asking you to support this petition to stop lenders re-possessing mortgage payers properties should they through no fault of their own fall behind with their mortgage payments. In particular those most vulnerable are those working for themselves, subject to the fluctuations of the unregulated free market everybody is tied into. If you fall into this caregory it is very likely no matter the precautions undertaken you could potentially loose all your savings, and still loose your home.
Others at risk are those who work for businesses which go bust, or due to unexpected misfortune such as sudden weather storms.
In any case there must be alternatives to loosing the roof over your head. All this petition is about is asking our law makers to look at alternatives other than re-possession, which can be considered so that families can stay together, and individuals can stay in their homes until they are ready to move.
Will you sign this petition to stop the over mighty finance lenders from re-possessing peoples' homes when there is no cause to do so.
