In the original version of Star Wars released in theaters, there was a scene in which Han Solo was cornered by the bounty hunter Greedo. After a quasi-hostile exchange, Han shot at Greedo, but missed, following Greedo to shoot and miss as well, and finally, Han shot again and killed Greedo. When the Star Wars films were re-released on VHS and any other subsequent formats, the part where Han shot first was omitted, not to mention the various other things that were arbitrarily added. We request that George Lucas release the original, unedited copies of the original theatrical releases of the Star Wars films on DVD and Blu-ray. By doing this, we ask George Lucas to restore the first Star Wars films to their original glory, with the added viewing experience that DVDs and Blu-rays have to offer.
