Good representation is about listening to residents and responding to their needs.

Last winter, Han Dong spent a lot of time bus stop canvassing: talking to the residents of Trinity-Spadina to give them a chance to get to know him and for him to get to know them.

During one of those canvasses, Han had a conversation with a resident of Liberty Village who suggested that the TTC would do well to reallocate buses from the route that brings Liberty Village residents up to the Ossington subway station to instead have a direct bus from Liberty Village to Union Station.In subsequent discussions with Liberty Village residents, Han heard a lot of support for this change and decided to take action.

Since then, Han has started the process of collecting signatures from the residents in and around Liberty Village which he intends to present to the TTC to ask for change.
