The council have sent a letter out to residents in Hampton advising of a road closure between Oliver Road and Shore View, This petition is to gain signatures so that this does not take place and the road is left open, There is already an issue with traffic in Hampton and closing this road for any length of time will cause extra delays to motorists getting in and out of Hampton not just at this side but at every exit. I for one can not afford to spend any longer in traffic leaving Hampton than I already do so urge you to sign this petition before the 20th of June so that it can be delivered to the council. Thanks A fellow Hampton Resident

Steve Emmingham, United Kingdom1 year ago Comments: The council should look at making things easier for citizens not more difficult. Pavements wider than roads make no sense.
Aled Morris, United Kingdom1 year ago Comments: This road closure needs to be rethought. It will inconvenience a large number of residents including myself, and will cause additional congestion on other roads. The quickest route out will still be via small residential roads.
