This petition applies to all residents of the Hampton Park Community and its adjoining neighbors.

Currently, the CC&R's of the Hampton Park HOA states:
- All resident garages must be clean enough to park 2 vehicles
- All street parking within the Hampton Park Community is reserved for Guests only

These rules and regulations mandate that any vehicle that is tagged within the complex three times, will be towed, regardless of the day or time. This has become a great inconvenience to the owners and tenants that reside here, and rather than solving the lack of guest parking, has created another issue for residents and our adjoining neighbors.

This 'blanket rule' does not account for:
-Many units have more than two vehicles
-Repeat guests
-Lack of street parking outside of Hampton Park/Annoyance for our neighbors

Ever since the change and enforcement of this rule, most of the spaces within the complex have been empty for extended periods of time.  Rather than banning all residents from parking within the Hampton Park Community, we propose to release these spaces for the residents and set aside a set number for guests only. (The parking lot on Sheffield Dr and Westbury Dr as this is the 'center' of the complex.) This will ensure that both guests and residents will have spaces to park in.

A suggestion has also been made to distribute parking permits to the residents.  Those permits may be used by resident or guest vehicles.  Any vehicle without a parking permit may be subject to tow.  Taking into account that there are 150 housing units within the community, and only 49 parking spaces, it is recommended that one parking permit be distributed to each, and spaces be available on a first-come first-serve basis.  All residents will pledge to park their vehicles in their respective garages.
