Lottir Brewster | | looking forward to seeing the olympia final on tv

Laura Pennell | Nipna Stud | As a nation, we are truly proud of our heritage, and our Native ponies are a part of that. Their versatility, presence and fantastic characters are desired throughout the world (just look at how many are exported to other countries). It is frankly appalling that more attention is not given to our Native ponies; the Olympia final provides everything an audience could wish for - "Rags to Riches" stories, truly magnificent animals, and an emotional competition, for all who watch and compete in it.
miranda parkinson | wilmira | fed up of football, football and more football, let's have a sport worth watching on the tv
Laura Reay | Bedrock Stud | Native ponies are part of our national heritage, and deserve the same prestige and media coverage as other breeds and disciplines.
Erin Lisa Morgan | | Native ponies are a vital part of the british heritage they played such a huge role in the lives of farmers and city folk that they need to be recognised by the people and shown what they were originally bred for and why people spend time and money to preserve the breeds. and keep them true to type.
Tony & Marie Bell | Beltoy Shetland Stud | The National heritage of our Native Breeds requires equality of opportunity from the press & media. The prestigious Mountain & Moorland final at Olympia is the ultimate goal & showcase for our Native Breeds.
Victoria Anne Grundy | | Please help to raise awareness of our native breeds (some of which are endangered species) by televising this event
Toni Cadwell | Elmere Stud |
Mrs M E Tansley | Maidendale | We have a wonderful pony heritage in the British Isles and that needs to be promoted - the way to preserve these breeds is not by a few herds, but by there being a demand for them to do a proper job.
sue beddows | | British native breeds should be shown on tv from olympia. We have more native breeds than any other country and they should be promoted to show potential pony owners just what they can do and how much they can acheive. Many are on the rare breeds list and this would help with getting the numbers back up to where they should be!
Sue Howes | | I would REALLY like to see this on TV. I think it would make great TV too.

Kris Gee | Oldeworlde Stud | Its time to give the people what they'd like to see!
| 23 | Jo Crabtree | | So many people enjoy native ponies it has to be worth it.
Even non-horsey people like to see fat shiny hairy thelwells (though don't tell them i said that) |
Claire Booth | Native Pony Mart | We would love to see the M&M ridden final at Olympia televised please.
| 25 | Laura-Anne Baxendale | | These are stunning animals, which are native to this country. Some of them are rare breeds, who need protected. There are many people who are involved in these animals and are enthusiastic about them, and many more who just don't know that much about the breeds so they should be promoted!
Even if is just a few minutes in the highlights please show them!!! |
elizabeth anne agarwal | | As an owner of a Highland pony I am a convert to the native breeds. They can do everything most riders/drivers want to do and are sane, sensible and hardy
Rhianne Michelle Bourton | |

Lazzi Santana | | Televise the finals, bring awareness of the most beautiful breeds in the world!
Mrs C.Dando | Kewstoke Highlands | We should all be proud of our Native ponies, and everyone should have the chance to see the Best in action
Rosanna Kuit | | Please help us to promote these endangered ponies by showing them on national televsision.
Dr Christine Wilson | |
Eve Edmunds | Hirstmund Highland Stud | I have been astounded at the huge interest that has grown over the past five years in this area of the equine world. At the Hoys M&M final there was not a spare seat to be had and even standing room was at a premium. Olympia is even more the Holy Grail as has been stated. This is definitely a ratings winner.
Kelly Smith | |
Mags Morrison | | Please let us watch and support our precious native ponies!
Nina Hoad | Kingsmoor | It is a fine display of our lovely native breeds of pony and one as a nation we should be justly proud of. With five of the breeds on the RBST list now coverage of these wonderful ponies is even more important to make people aware of our native breeds and their wonderful temperaments and differing types.
Victoria Lomas | | Native ponies have been a huge part of our history. They are now dying out with most breeds being in danger. There needs to be more awareness of them and the lands they live on.
Kate Lauchlan | |
Anonymous | Anonymous | The native breeds of Britain are under threat & numbers are declining. Please help to introduce them to a wider audience.
Sheila Thomson | | As a child the BBC coverage of the Olympia was always the beginning of Christmas. Now, as an adult, watching the Mountain and Moorland final would be one of the highlights of the festive season.
