    Comments: I am a true dog lover and have presently rescued 2 abused dogs from homelessness (1 from a shelter. They mean everything to me and we really have to take care of the animals because in one way or another, they really do take care of us.

    Comments: Having lived in four countries and seen animal shelters in three of these this one stands out because it is an absolute disgrace. This animal shelter is simply the worst I have ever seen. I cannot fault the people that work in it - it is just too small, too overcrowded, exposed to the elements and filthy. For comparison, please visit the shelter in nearby Mount Holly. The contrast could not be more stark.

    Comments: The Shelter needs to be updated this is a disgrace. More homes have been built resulting in more animals.Washington Township has the money for new multi million dollar schools yet their animals go to the Hamilton Shelter.

    Comments: I agree also the shelter is small and is not up to date and they lack staff. How can only 3 officers cover Hamilton Town Ship There is a lot of animals that need to be saved. This is something the Mayor has over looked and should do something about. How can you kill an animal to get more space Does the Mayor no of this, or does he even care Its pretty bad when your bedroom is bigger then there shelter. As an animal lover I really think they should do something fast the longer they wait more doggies will die. what does it take to get something done spend the money on things that needs it like the shelter.
