Comments: I see no confirmation on this petition that this is a construction project for a military academy. However, if it is so or otherwise i'd rather you turn it into a farming academy and put your spendings on raising more aware farmers, technologically advanced techniques, and irrigation methods. As can be predicted, you would see nonsense in my rant, yet it should be intensified that i don't want this approach to militarizing people. The military is in all the people, and all the people are for the land.

Comments: this is a very big scandal, we have to act to stop this killing of Ajloun trees and wildlife in Jordan. is there any information on who is cashing in from this "investment"? who has authorized this project? and how much are they getting from it?

Comments: Even if we suppose that it is vital to build this academy…!!why they’re ignoring that there is a military base (Division 12) just few kilometers away from this project!!where it stays over a hundreds of donums!! Wandering if its that difficult just to fit this academy somewhere within these not few donums!!? we all adore our military in this country, but this is a huge mistake & hopefully its going to be stopped!

Comments: Eco systems are fragile systems that evolved over millions of years, and they are part of the complex life on earth. Even 2200 trees can have a dramatic effect on all aspects of life on Earth. In a nutshell, forests were not created to be chopped down.

Comments: There must be an alternative site in the area that can be used. Too many trees have been stripped from the land over the last few years. That is quite enough!.

Comments: I totally agree. Tomorrow I have an appointment with the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN). Their aim is to create woodlands and plant trees mostly in the west bank ( Jerusalem etc.)But for sure protection of nature is not just limited to Palestine so I might post this topic to them and see what they may do about it.
