Comments: I was a pupil at DGS in the late 1940's and a member of the railway society - it would be a tragedy if the council destroyed it along with the other parts of Doncaster's history which they have destroyed.

Comments: This school provided an excellent education for me. The facilites were very good, especially the location, close to the town and the town fields. Don't take away a very successful part of Doncaster's Education system.

Comments: i used to go to this school, and even though now i live in spain, it would be a great shame to close it as it taught me so much and i would not be as happy as i am now if i hadnt attended and everyone enjoys their time they spend at this school.

Comments: I think that the council its a bit mad. Shutting the school down or changing it purpose is going to cost a lot of money. building new is going to cost a lot of money. I dont see where this is balancing out the cost against the effects it will cause to the pupils and families at the school. I went to ellers middle before it was changed to lower hall cross, my sister and brother followed later on, as a family we have the best times, I cant see where all of this is going to improve the education when the costs are to great. we have only memories left. school is ment to be the best time of your life. please listern to reason the people dont want this.

Comments: I worked there for 8 years and out of all the schools I have worked in [about 12 in total] it is and was by far the best for working and for the children. Please do not close it.
