I am totally disgusted by the way Lloyds and Halifax are treating their pet insurance customers. They promised cover for life pet insurance but by exiting the market very abruptly they left responsible owners with seriously ill pets completely stranded. These pets are now uninsurable with thousands and thousands of pounds of bills each year to treat essential on-going conditions. Lloyds and Halifax have forced pet lovers - many of whom are pensioners or people of limited means - to either get deeper and deeper into debt or to contemplate having to end their pets' lives prematurely. The banks must honour their promise of cover-for-life to all these pets and their people or I will cease to trust them with my business. If this situation isn't promptly and fairly resolved I will never bank with either Lloyds or Halifax ever again and I will encourage all other pet lovers to do the same.
