PETITION TO THE HONOURABLE THE SPEAKER AND MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ASSEMBLED IN PARLIAMENT: The petition of certain citizens of Australia asking the House to review the decision by Kraft Foods Limited to label Vegemite as Halal certified. We believe that such labeling is unnecessary in a Country where only about 1.5% of it's population are Muslim and that such labeling represents an encroaching Islamisation of Australia. We ask that the House direct Kraft Foods Limited, through legislation if necessary, to remove Halal labeling from Vegemite.
