Comments: Just look at the benefits in Adelaide where the same base plan for the central city as Christchurch has resulted in a magical multi use of their equivalent of Hagley Park. Come on Chch you have a new opportunity to do what should have been done 100 years ago!

Comments: The Oval would be a great (and much needed) heart centre for the city. Sport brings together people of all walks of life and circumstances and the Oval is a very fine setting to accommodate and encourage a strong sense of community again.

Comments: this would add another dimension to the dynamic of what the centre of Christchurch can become. it will not detract from the current Hagley Park experience but add to it.

Comments: I would very much support Hagley Oval becoming the home of cricket in Canterbury. It has great ambience already but I very much like the sound of a rolling grass bank to enjoy watching the action from. This has been a long time coming and it would be nice to see something finally begin to get underway on this project.

Comments: This concept deserves to be debated in the public domain. The idea of having a sporting complex in the middle of the city is a great concept. Bring life back to CHCH city centre.

Comments: I strongly believe this development must go through. there is very little disruption to the park. in fact it will look better than before and go a long way to revitalising our city.
