Name: Cynthia Robinson on Dec 20, 2009Comments: Mr. Hache: I refuse to believe that my role in democracy ends once an 'X" is placed beside a candidate's name. This is a perversion of the democratic principles Canadians hold so dear. Members are elected to be the voice of the people and to represent our wishes. This transaction spells disaster for your riding, particularly Belledune. The closure of the Belledune power generating station would devastate the local economy. The only guarantee made to us is that we would receive 1 year notice of the impending closure. Say what you want about "it should continue its operation for many years to come..." under the current agreement this would be solely at the discretion of HQ. I do not believe this deal will benefit NB in the manner hoped for by the government. It is a gamble and the cards are not stacked in our favour. Please show your loyalty to the people, not the party. Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion. Sincerely, Cynthia Robinson BelleduneFlag

Name: Flora M Brown Guitard on Dec 25, 2009Comments: N.B.Power should stay with N.B. Quebec has tried unsuccefully to seperate from Canada because it does not want to be a part of our Great Country. If seperation does happen in the future, then what? Then Quebec will have the power to bribe and abuse. I think it stinks. I think our leaders are being too sneaky and are not looking out for New Brunswickers best interestsFlag

Name: PHILIP J GOUDREAU on Dec 28, 2009Comments: If this non deal goes through the province will be in a greater financial mess than ever and no way to pay for it. As a business owner and tax payer this is another BIG government blunder. Why do we put people who can't and do not know how to run a business in charge is our political system that broken?.Flag
