Games Workshop is preparing to increase prices on their line of fantasy minatures used for tabletop gaming, in some cases up to 25% above the current cost of the same minatures. The major justiciation for this increase is a change in materials used to produce the minatures. We, the undersigned, wish to express our deep dissatisfaction with this change. The cost of Citadel minatures is already very high for most enthusiasts for the game, and we believe this change will make it unaffordable for many. We also understand the cost of materials for producing these minatures will be substantially lower and subject to less price volatility than current production processes, and wish to share in the savings that will be realized by the company. It is unacceptable to impose higher prices on long-term enthusiasts who have invested time and money into the hobby over the years without commesurate increases in the value of what is being purchased.
