I'm just a kid so I just hear the overview and this may not be completely right but I know that people have died because of gun violence and we need to stop it. There was a poll that showed that 82% of people in the US support background checks and other limitations on guns. Congress has addressed this issue as urgent but I have seen no change in anything. If this shooting happened some time ago and the majority of people want gun control, then why hasn't congress done anything because it looks to me like they haven't accomplished S**T.
