   Comments: It is simply absurd that the library doesn't stay open when we need it the most. Also couls stay open later all year, I often really need it for coursework research, and the times at the moment are restrictive. Thanks

    Comments: This is a very good idea, particularly around exam times, providing library staff are paid appropriately without any attack on their contracts. I'm certain the required staffing would be minimal in any case.

    Comments: The library should be open 24 hours, given the nature of student life these days. Students have to work, and they are doing jobs that require odd shift patterns. Plus - some peoples' brains are just coming into their own in the wee small hours of the morning. Much useful work could be done; then watch the dawn break over the whole of Glasgow before heading off to bed.... I for one would be happy to apply for a job staffing the place through the night.
