Stop Airplane Noise Pollution in the Gulf Islands

The petition

This is a petition to force Transport Canada and NAV Canada to increase the minimum flying height to 2,500 feet, over the Southern Gulf Islands in British Columbia, Canada.

Noise pollution from low-flying aircraft is destroying our quality of life, our sensitive ecosystem, our property values, and our tourism industry.

Residents of the Gulf Islands have been expressing their concerns over this problem for over eight years. It is now time that the needs of the community be given a higher priority than the needs of large commercial airlines!
