This petition is for members of the Bolton/Waterbury Community to sign to have more guard rails installed on the Duxbury River Road. There are many places along the road that have easy access for vehicles to enter the river if there is an accident. With much traffic daily coming and going along our road it would be safer for people to have guard rails in place to stop you in case of an emergency. With the amount of hikers and bikers on our road it would also be safer for traffic to be able to go around them and for them to move over and have boundaries to do so. Living on this road for almost 20 years I have seen my fair share of cars sliding on ice, slipping in the slushy snow, and even cars trying to avoid hitting pedestrians and winding up in ditches. Please help us keep our families safe and others safe that travel our road. Thank you. Brenda L. Phillips
