Charter School Superintendant Penny Harrison has:
1. overridden teacher's grades to grant favors to children of school board members
2. arbitrarily fired dedicated, qualified staff and teachers, and then lied about why they were fired
3. padded the school board with favorites, and employed almost 98% of their offspring
4. made slanderous statements about teachers
5. violated WASC requirements by not observing and evaluating faculty
6. has seen 50% staff turnover in the two years she has been at Guajome
7. violated the Electronic Communication Privacy Act by accessing a password-protected section of the guajomeunderground.org website without authorization
8. demonstrated complete ignorance of NCLB hiring and firing requirements
9. demonstrated appalling ignorance in the handling of a sixth-grade student who was beat up in the boys' bathroom
10. has given inappropriately large gifts of money (upwards of $20) to students she runs into outside of school
11. does not respond to phone calls or email. (This is not hyperbole, it is fact.)
12. overseen inexcusable fiscal mismanagement (The Wellness Center expenses add up to more than a quarter of a million dollars)
