Please sign this petition which indicates your support for including GTAs in the LSE’s Cyclescheme. The government’s Cyclescheme offers employees at LSE up to 42% discount (average discount is 33%) on their bike purchase. Unfortunately, the scheme is not currently available for GTAs for administrative reasons. Whilst the problems regarding GTA pay and working conditions is part of a wider national issue, LSE does have the ability to include GTAs in its Cyclescheme at little or no cost to the school. Including GTAs in the scheme would represent a meaningful boost in compensation to GTAs who cycle and choose to participate in the scheme. GTAs are valued highly both as students and staff and the Union believes it is unfair and wrong that they are excluded from the Cyclescheme. We are therefore urging LSE to take action and resolve this problem. Thank you for your support!
