| 15 | Fred S. Miller | It is immoral to force someone to go about their daily lives without some means to defend themselves. You must allow these people to carry their concealed firearms, or you must assign them each their own personal bodyguard. |

| 19 | Dr. Steve Moysey | The people of any free nation should not have to worry about being able to defend themselves from violent criminals. Unfortunateluy it's taken the British people this long to wake up and take action. I'm a Brit, now a US citizen proudly exercising my rights under the 2nd Amendment. |

| 33 | Robert Ham | So terribly sad when law-abiding citizens are put at ever greater risk by draconian laws which, though designed to keep us safe, do precisely the opposite. When, by God, will the British public awaken and demand an end to this insanity? Will it necessitate the taking of one of your precious loved ones before you demand reform? |

| 46 | David Burnett | Not only is this a move that would empower the British citizen, but it has substantial ramifications for decreasing violent crime. |
| 47 | John Adams | Brits need to grow a backbone and insist that their government stop treating them like expendable cattle.
We all have a right to refuse to be victimised. Civilian concealed carry is an effective tool in the overall war on crime. |
| 48 | Carolyn Hart | Crime rates are lower when concealed carry is allowed. |
| 49 | Robert Sanders | |
| 50 | Toby Gettins | I also live in the West Midlands, and I concur whole-heartedly with Mr Showell.
His statistical sources are correct. Crimes of violence - including gun violence - in America are strongly correlated to areas where the citizens are not allowed to carry weapons in their own defence.
The infamous mass-shootings such as at Virginia Tech have all occurred in "gun-free" zones. Similar events on the European mainland have also occurred in "gun-free" environments.
Conversely, areas where concealed carry is NOT infringed by law are areas of atypically low violent crime and have a low rate of crime against property.
Therefore I take great pleasure in signing this petition. Britons should be allowed to carry concealed firearms in their own defence and in defence of their property. |
