Kyros michaelits disgusting in this day and age that this kind of hatred still exists, my children show more maturity that Mr Keeping,
Joanna Rowland-StuartYou have them bang to rights under the goods, facilities and services provision of the relavant legilsation. To keep all such inappropriate advertising away from children and families, without discriminating, Mr Keeping must now also ban Carol singers (religious propaganda), Santa Claus (American mythology), Halloween (more American mythology), Father's Day (even more American propaganda) as these are clearly all designed to brainwash families into spending significant amounts of money on each other while ignoring world poverty, British poverty, world AIDS, British AIDS and child abuse both home and abroad...
wendy burgessI would add that Aids is not and never will be a soley gay disease. I am sure that many families who are affected by it, would welcome the opportunity to see educational literature on display in such a family orientated location. It gives a good chance for kids to ask questions they may not ask at home and for adults to encourage education and understanding amongst the youth of our country.
tony merrinBlatant discrimination and breaking the law should not go unchallenged. Everyone has to follow the law - Mr Keeping is no different.
Martin Still
Ron KellieThis homophobia is a total disgrace in the 21st century especially in Surrey where some of the weathiest gay people live. The manager should be sacked for prejudice and being a bigot
Ria Winslade
Keith FIshHIV is not a gay issue, it's everybody's issue.

Daryl BesteIn this day and age of equality I believe the Centre Manager should be asked to resign for discriminating in this inappropriate way.
vicky padburySo small minded and ignorant. A pity the people of Woking don't make a stand and boycott the Centre.

Stuart HaylesSuch discrimination is illegal, but more importanly s a discgrace. Aids affects the whole community Adverts used to appear on tv, why not promotethe messagein a shopping centre. People dont have to stop at he stall.
Jonathan Marr

Kes SamuelsonI am appalled by the attitude of the shopping centre management. I'm straight, and a mother, and personally I would have no problem with gay people having a stall in my local shopping centre - I am insulted that this man thinks he's somehow 'protecting' my children when actually it is his narrow-minded views which I find most offensive, and which I would not want my children to think acceptable. Anyway, surely Worlds Aids Day is about helping sick people, whatever their sexuality? Someone as ignorant and bigoted as Mr Keeping may be entitled to his own opinions but he should not be in a postion where he has to deal with members of the public in this way. Doesn't the company that employs him have any sort of policy about not discriminating against people?

paul haskellHow is this man able to keep his job?
Chris HillThis is an appalling example of bigotry, and should be stamped out.
Chris ScaddenBlatent and damaging homophobia. This also sends out very misleading messages about Woking as an intolerant, unfriendly and unwelcoming town, and will damage its local economy if it is allowed to become more than local news.

Patrick Ardagh-WalterI think it's really important that an inclusive society is seen to be accepted in the normal, everyday places of life. To reject a gay support group in such a public way sends a hostile and intimidating message to lesbian and gay people in Woking and particularly to those who are isolated or need support. This decision should be reversed and management at the Peacock Centre sent for awareness training without delay.

Dave O'BrienAs i a member of the general public who ia a gay father and has to work from time to time in the peacock centre due to my work . I strongly agree the centre management are being wrong in allowing the rights of the Gay Surrey not to have a stand @ the Peacock Cetnre
wayne burnhambigoted people still exist in all jobs and walks of society

Robert Lewington
Phil RatcliffeThis is a disgrace and a blatant infringement of the Equalities act. To refuse promotion of World Aids Day on the grounds of being inappropriate for families and children shows that the Centre Management has no grasp on reality. He obviously thinks that Aids does not affect families and children, how naive. TAKE A LOOK AT AFRICA, Mr Keeping. Have a look at the UK national statistics - you'll find that there is a higher percentage increase in HIV & Aids cases within the "heterosexual" community than the Gay & Lesbian Community. Time for you to open your eyes and wise up Mr Keeping.
Paul DeakinsThis sort of bigotry is so unacceptable in today's society : I really thought people were more educated in this day and age. Sadly I appear to be wrong.
William MillarThis is absurd. I would have though it was information rather than promotion of a sexuality. The Irony is that Mr Keepings actions are promoting hetrosexuality.
