Name: Kara Wahn on Oct 29, 2006Comments: It's a nice comfort, when living in another country, to take a break from a different language and relish hearing your own. I know I love being able to take a break from my hectic schedule and have those precious few hours to myself to enjoy a film. I would love to see original version films return to Grindel!Flag

Name: Sadie Coakley on Oct 30, 2006Comments: watching movies in their orignial language is the best!! being able 2 see movies once they once they were released in the movies in english was the best thing ever ... I loved going 2 grindel so much. plus, the cinema is great itself .. lovely staff and a feeling of cosiness encouraged me 2 go there as often as possible! especially if u're english speaking the cinema brings u and ur english speaking friends together! when my family from ireland came we could watch recent movies instead of having to rent them out on dvd .. ths is what we'd have to do now ... it was such a fantastic service! also a lot of non english speaking people came just 2 have the opportunity of seeing a film in its original language. now that all this has stopped .. so many things are going lost .. partly I can understand Grindel's reasons for doing so, but still I can only encourage Grindel 2 start showing the english version of movies again! it was such a great oportunity, for so many people! please grindel : )Flag

Name: Adele Riepe on Oct 31, 2006Comments: Munich, Frankfurt, Cologne & Dusseldorf all have more than one theater in the city showing films in English. e Abaton almost never shows the blockbuster films such as The Devil Wears Prada. I teach English to adults and send my students to the movies at Grindel to help them learn the language. Please reconsider!!Flag
