Please Do Not Overcrowd Our Neighborhood with 53 New Affordable Housing Apartments At Greenleaf and Glenoaks right next to the freeway. Please build us a Park or Community Center instead. There is an empty lot at Greenleaf and Glenoaks in Anaheim, CA that is owned by the City of Anaheim. The neighborhood is already over-crowded with cars. We have nowhere to park and have been working with the city for a number of years trying to find solutions to this problem. According to the Anaheim City Traffic Department this project will only add to the already existent problems. The Police Department believes that this Housing project would only bring more crime and gang activity. The Department is very concerned. Our neighborhood is already high-density. We do not need a five-story complex towering over the freeway. There are only two ways out of our neighborhood. We are boxed in. One of these two outlets has the highest accident rate in the entire city. This project would only bring more traffic to that area. The Planning Commission stated that if this particular project was being proposed in their neighborhoods, they would stand up and oppose it. The parks Department is more then willing to buy the property, they simply need our backing! Please Sign this petition and help us out! Thank you, Your Neighbors at Greenleaf and Glenoaks
