| 851 | Ralph haught | The greenhouse is the best part of the whole complex .It is the only part that has a connection with many area residents. It stands to reason that someone thinks it should go since it's not a monument to excess that is the National Cathederal. |
| 852 | F Fowler | Christ found solitude, peace, strength, and a stronger communion with the Holy Spirit in the garden. Wouldn't it be appropriate for a Christian organization, in the heart of the greatest political city, to provide such a place? Please keep this open. If for nothing else, at least as a continuing ministry to those who appreciate God's creations and the church's goodness to the community. |
| 853 | P.W. Samaras | When grieving, I found comfort in the garden; I found hope at the greenhouse. |

| 855 | Patricia A. Riley | It is wonderful to haev a resource like this which promotes the environment -- which surely must be one of the boals of our Church. |

Blessings, Leslie Conover |
| 859 | Gail Gorlitzz | The greenhouse is a refuge and a place to learn how to be ecologically wise. Please keep this lovely place open for locals and visitors.
Thank you. |

| 863 | Kathryn Langdon | I would never have heard about the cathedral except for someone mentioning the greenhouses. It would be a shame for the cathedral to lose potential access to new people to DC through the greenhouse. |
| 864 | Connie Zimmer | As a 30 year customer, supporter, school parent and friend to the Cathedral, I urge you to at least give this growing coalition the opportunity to help save and support the Greenhouse |
| 865 | Patsy Guyer | Please reconsider your decision to close this cathedral treasure. |
| 866 | Elizabeth Campbell | |
| 867 | G Massenburg | Please reconsider your decision to close the Greenhouse! |
| 868 | Mary M. Abate | |
| 869 | David Epstein | If you think you've found all the varieties of plants available at the local plant stores, think again and visit the Cathedral greenhouse! |
| 870 | Jennie Sledge | |
| 871 | Beth Baker | PLEASE do not take this away from us. The Greenhouse is cherished by the Cathedral community and visitors marvel at the smallness of such a big place by seeing locals at work !! |
| 872 | Sharon Brewer | |
| 873 | Mark McDonald | If Johnsons can make so much money, so can you..... |
| 874 | Sarah | This is ridiculous! This is one of the many beautiful aspects of the cathedral. This decision needs to be reconsidered. |

| 879 | Brenda Holt | The greenhouse is so unique to our area. Please don't close it. It would be a great loss to the community! |

| 882 | Carolyn Bryant | Though I attend another church, I have enjoyed the Cathedral greenhouse for years. It is a very important part of outreach for the Cathedral. It should certainly be preserved! |
| 883 | Cynthia Ely | I have already written a letter expressing my disappointment and disbelief about this
unwise decision. |
| 884 | Deborah Sternberg | |
| 885 | Danae Fails | Faith is like a seed; if planted it will grow. The greenhouse provides a physical metaphor for each of our fatihs. Please keep the greenhouse! |

| 887 | Anonymous | The greenhouse is one of the aspects of the cathedral that make it such a nice place to visit. It's in the middle of the city, but it feels like a day in the country. Do you not want tourists anymore? Are our enjoyments of the greenhouse plants insufficiently spiritual? I can understand if it's just too expensive to run, but "not part of our strategic mission" is, number one, something that sounds like cynical corporate speak, and number two, not true - for all the reasons stated in this group's letter. |
| 888 | Jillian Borchard | Please keep it open!!!! |
| 889 | Sara Eisenberg | |
| 890 | Robin Kurtz | I visited the cathedral this spring for the first time since I was confirmed there as a child. One of the many positive aspects of my visit was learning of the greenhouse and it's mission.
I am saddened to learn that a short-sighted management decision to close the greenhouse.
Please reconsider.

| 893 | Mary Carroll Platt | I shop at the Greenhouse once every two months and especially at Christmas. I depend on the Greenhouse for herbs for my garden. This is the primary thing that brings me to the Cathedral grounds and I would miss it terribly if it were gone. After years of putting up with buses idling on Wisconsin Avenue and other inconveniences, I saw the Greenhouse as my recompense. |
| 894 | Lezlie Crosswhite | Please carefully reconsider your plan to shut down the Greenhouse. It's a most beloved part of the Cathedral. |
| 895 | Linda Ridall | When my family and I went to the cathedral we felt that we were able to bring a little piece of it with us in the form of an herb. Each year when we tend that plant it brings us not only back to the cathedral but also closer to god, nature, and those wonderful feelings of spirit and faith we experienced while visiting the National Cathedral. |
