My name is Jepkorir Lagat, an entrepreneur, a farmer and a lover of the environment.

My country Kenya is facing an ecological threat of deforestation leaving our landmass bare, subject to agricultural and industrial pressures not to mention human settlements. Most counties, have less than adequate forest cover, a problem if not checked makes the probability of desertification real. This is besides global warming and all its consequences!

Its never too late to take action and it starts with you. What better way to gift the planet than to take part in this initiative. On your birthday, anniversaries and other life's milestones, be grateful to mother nature and do a very simple thing; plant a tree!

Green your backyard and your walkways. Donate seedlings to the nearest public space, school, church etc. Leave a legacy, a gift that will keep on giving; your children will thank you.
