greek aviation is shocking and unsafe

The petition

Anyone who has travelled to Greece before by air will know how shocking the airports safety regulations are, especially small island airfields such as zakynthos, Kos, Rhodes, Kefallinia. It’s a nation-wide disgrace.

i have been to zakynthos (Zante) twice and it is frightening how easy it would be to cause problems or even terrorise the airport and its aircraft, may sound over the top but you have to see the security issues for yourself to believe it, cases not scanned, liquids aloud through security even alcohol and perfume...

I’ve heard similar reports from sites such as www.airlinequality.com for all Greek airports except Athens and other larger airports where more attention is taken; it’s not just the safety....

it’s practically a human rights violation being crammed into a tiny lounge with poor, little or almost no toilet facilities and very unhygienic snack bars, also health and safety in Zante was unbelievable, stairs with signs on were ignored and used as seats for people feeling so ill with the heat making it impossible to get to the overpriced duty free

Believe it or not, I’m only 15 but take a great interest in aviation, and if a teenager can realise this problem, surely I’m not alone on this petition, but obviously not Greek authorities don't give the slightest.
