Name: Cindy Cleversey on Mar 12, 2007Comments: MORE support is needed for our students, not less. Many of our students come into school with "heavy baggage" from home, and they need to connect. Counselors are a very critical component with many students. Please reconsider this counseling cuts.Flag

Name: Pat Kirkey on Mar 12, 2007Comments: Eliminating some counselors at the lower level is only going create more drop-outs at the middle and high school level. The students' needs do not get met early on, they become discouraged learners, their parents give up on them as well. The districts either meets the needs and demands now, or the county tax payers pay later, not to speak of the fact that the schools are letting our kids down.Flag
