Comments: I'm a qualified marine biologist from the UK. I just happened to read your petition and thought how typical it is that such things take so much time for legislation to come through - and by then the damage has been done. Come on guys, even forgeting the welfare side of the argument - these big guys are an amazing resource... look after them!

Comments: Shark diving businesses depend for their income not only on the tourists but just as much on the sharks, they should therefore have the obligation to ensure the safety not only of the divers but also of the endangered creatures they offer them to see. It is inexcusable to allow these beautiful sharks to get crippled by the boat propellers, and any diver with a love for the oceans would certainly be horrified to witness it. The cage diving businesses must have the responsibility to protect the sharks!
