AnonymousAs a Hamilton Accies fan I can only sat that Grays have been treated dreadfully in this situation. Why should they pay a player who made false claims prior to signing?
Dan WebbIt's a disgrace. The FA should be backing Grays and setting an example to thousands of youngsters around the country that crime doesn't pay.

Col MThe FA's stance on this is deplorable....but as a York City fan I can assure you it's sadly the norm. Combine an organisation that claims to support smaller clubs with the PC Britain and you get this type decision - it truly beggars belief. Your Chairman's stance is spot-on and I genuinely hope this buffoon doesn't receive a penny from GAFC. Best of luck!
AnonymousThe FA has always appeared to be a spineless bunch of money grubbing idiots, and this is another case in point If only these aging, out of touch cretins had the slightest degree of common sense then this issue would not even be an issue Only the misguided stupidity of these self-opinionated geriatric businessmen would follow such a ridiculous ideology - their misplaced arrogance convieniently forgets the reality of the situation and totally dismisses the impact that their outlandish impact has on the actual fans and supporters who support Grays FC!!!! All credit to the management of Grays for showing a sense of proportion and integrity and I, for one, fully support their decision
garry newsoncriminals like this person should and must loose all rights that are for the benefit of law abiding people from all over the world

Ben SwindellsPut it before a jury. There is not a jury in the land that would agree that he should be paid the money. It is costing twice as much in taxpayers money to keep him in prison each year.

Max SmithThis is an outrage and there is no way that Grays should have to pay out this money, especially under the circumstances. Please take my vode to reject this claim. Many thanks Max Smith
Richard TaylorThere is an obvious duty on all parties to be honest at all stages, especially on a matter as serious as this.

James DaviesTotally outragous that a convicted criminal should be eligiable. Yet again an example of socicety working against hard working honest people.

AnonymousPerhaps it is about time that the FA members who made the decision to pay a criminal were replaced by people who care - think about the victims family!

TOMI am sure that if the player had told the real reason about his upcoming court appearance then the club would not have offered him a contract. They say that crime doesn't pay---yeah whatever!!!!!!
Jon RawnsleyDisgrace. Support from YCFC
AnonymousIt is a disgrace for Grays to pay the thief. He did not honour his contract. If he failed to turn up to training it is a fine .If he failed to turn up to a game a fine. He gets his full wages and palyers turning up for training once five mins late get less.JUSTICE me thinks not.
Ralph ShandWhatever happened to common sense?
AnonymousI think it is rediculous the FA are pursuing this instead of getting on with their job and run football
