Name: Sarah on Mar 24, 2008City of Residence: Apple ValleyComments: Please consider another area for this project. This location is too close to the residents of Apple Valley and will spoil our "way of life" by ruining our eastern skyline. I also oppose this project because it's funded by our tax dollars!Flag

Name: Jeffrey on Apr 7, 2008City of Residence: (east) Apple ValleyComments: I can't believe I missed the meeting! I have lived here for over 30 years and never would have dreamed that these horrible towers would be built in my own backyard! Why on earth can't they be built far in the distance perhaps way out there off of Barstow road I feel sorry for all of the people who have bought and invested their life savings to live here and to now have to deal with this situation....because this is a nice area to retire and enjoy a rural way of life.Flag

Name: Robert on Apr 15, 2008City of Residence: Apple ValleyComments: I am in favor of alternative energy sources but this project is just poorly located. With the size of San Bernardino County there are areas with little to no population that would be more suitable for this and like projects.Flag

Name: Gerald on Apr 15, 2008City of Residence: Apple ValleyComments: It's not that I am opposed to the idea of renewable energy sources, I feel the location right in a populated area of the valley has not taken into consideration the long term effect to the environment as well as the property owners! The other objection is the way( or lack of) in which the notification was sent out to the public at large. It was a sorry attempt at doing the bare minium to be in compliance and still hoping enough people wouldn't really know about it until they awake one morning to hear and see these obtrusive structures in their backyard. We owe it to do better for our community. Let's look to areas less populated...the desert is pretty big!Flag

Name: Barbara on Apr 18, 2008City of Residence: Apple ValleyComments: I have been a resident of the high desert since 1975. I have raised all three of my boys here, as a matter of fact we ALL graduated from Apple High. We hike, ride horses, have picnics, collect rocks and many other family gatherings in the beautiful outdoors. It would be a absolute shame to see this happen to our peaceful High Desert!! I am totally against this.Flag
