Comments: I moved to a neighborhood next to Folsom Lake because I felt confident that I would be spared the impact of unfettered development that has been so much of part of the experience of living in South Placer County. I can't believe that even a national park can be threatened by such agregious human intervention. This will impact the environment and quality of life for 10s of thousands of citizens who enjoy the natural beauty of this park. What do we pay taxes for This is another outrageous idea from bureaucracy out of touch with the people it is SUPPOSED to be serving.

Comments: Too dangerous due to mineral (mercury - from gold mining past) contamanents and naturally occuring abestos to use this site for material. Also no need to deprive community of this recreational area for 10 years to improve the dam.

Comments: Our son was diagnosed with lymphoma while a student at Cavitt-Stallman Jr. High. With the high power lines going through the area, I believe the added assault to the environment of the asbestos and mercury will have a serious health risk for our children.
