-Snack time gives you time to socialize so you won't be disruptive during class -Snack time gives you a boost of energy -snacking is healthy for growing bodies -you need to snack between meals -it helps your metabolism speed up and burn fat quicker-Also if students' parent's are not able to provide their student with a snack, people can donate snacks to give to them-A lot of 7th graders are very, very hungry during this time of the day (between 3rd and 4th period) because most or all of their breakfast has settled and they are ready to snack on something
