He is in NCDOC and the Mother of his children says that the boys don't want to see me,because I tried to take her to court so I would be able to have visits. If I see them at all I have to do eberything on her terms. The minute I stopped doing everything she said and supporting her by paying bills etc... she cut me off from the boys. I am heartbroken and miss them so much.Her Mother is a big problem too she cuts down my son when she is married to a very abusive and unstable man. I need this petition to pass so we can see these kids.

They have no financial responsibilities as her father provides at no cost to them everything they need, car, insurance, cell phones, satellite tv, electricity, a home, etc.

    Comments: My daughter and I were always very close. She started dating a guy three years younger than her, and he is from a very dis functional family. My grandson was born before they got married and her MIL called to tell me she was in labor at the hospital but I did t have to come. Of course I went and was only allowed to see her one time while I was there. I never got to see him until he was four days old, and then for only a few minutes. Her husband (19) at he time decided I didn't need to be in his life. They have brainwashed my daughter. She finally allowed me to keep him two days a week while they worked, but when he was two she took him away and I never saw him again until he was I've, when my ex husband died. She then had a little girl, which I knew nothing about until after she was born, and didn't see her until she was 16 months old. She has then theses children in and out of our lives so many times. We now have not seen them for almost 6 1/2 years, or talked to them or even know where thy are. They were 2 and 10 the last time we saw them. I'm terrified to think what they have been told or even if they remember us. It breaks my heart to not see them, some of my best childhood memories were was with my grandparents and I so desperately wanted to make memories with mine. Why are grandchildren used to punish us, it's so unfair.

    Comments: grampa lives in springfield mo, and the highlight of grampas day was when the kids woulds bring Harmony in to walmart to see grampa at work. Now the x girlfriends mom won't let any of us see or talk to our grandbaby. Our grandbaby now lives in a house where drugs are sold what do we grand parents do?

    Comments: Everytime my x daughter in law gets a new boyfriend, the rules change. Grandchild now almost 14 has lived with me 11 years. We were told the new boyfriend is terrorizing the child. Now we are being punished for asking about our grandchild. We have given her cars, money, furniture, appliances and much, much more, with no thanks needed. The laws to protect children are insane, hurt the kids and protect bad parents. Very sad!

    Comments: My husband had been divorced from his daughter's mother for years before he met me. He told me that his ex slept around so much that he was never certain if he was the father of their child and that his ex had many abortions from extramarital pregancies. His ex-wife was very jealous of me tried to end our marriage through repeatedly inserted herself into our private lives until I put a stop to it. From that point she enlisted the help of her daughter to "punish" my husband and myself because he wouldn't leave me. After his ex wife sued us for increased child support, additional medical bills and post secondary child support (at an expensive school, the tuition for which, along with everything else has been paid in full), she encouraged his daughter to stop speaking to her father. His daughter estranged herself from us and even refused to let her father attend her high school graduation, then blamed him for not being there, at the constant urging of her mother. She does not acknowledge our gifts and cards that we send to her, or on the rare occasion when she has written, she has expressed rage and hatred for us both because we have not been "respectful" enough to her mother. She made it clear that she wanted her father to go back to her mother even though her mother had remarried. This year, in the middle of her post secondary schooling his daughter went out and got pregnant. My husband's health insurance covers her and she didn't have the decency to tell him. We found out from the insurance reports that listed the names of doctors she had seen and showed billing for many thousands of dollars. She still lives at home with her mother who is running a daycare of questionable background. His daughter never voluntarily contacted us and only when we sent a card asking if the reports were correct did his daughter respond, admitting that she is, in fact pregnant and has taken a leave of absence from school. We asked when the baby is due and sent her a gift for the baby, but have heard nothing. That the vindictiveness of the exwife has dictated my step- daughter's choices is obscene. This is the kind of abuse DSHS should not condone. It is also sad that his daughter has chosen to deny her child a healthy relationship with grandparents.

    Comments: We raised our grandchild for 3 1/2 yrs. My dauhter lost custody to her paternial father recently. Now he denies us visitation. I was hard for her to leave our home was the only one she knew. We just miss her and want to see her. Her father just will not let us. We are good people and never put her in harms way. Her mother does not live with us and will not untill she gets the help she needs.

    Comments: Lewis cates: Thank YOU for blowing-off steam. I think the semtinents you expressed are shared by nearly all of us who are loyal Pontiac fans. I, too, think that GM would be foolish to not resuscitate Pontiac. It had such a large and loyal following, it was outselling Buick TWO-TO-ONE here in the US, and offered more models than did Buick. It was a strong, iconic brand. Let's hope that GM comes to its senses SOON.
