In the children's best interest, I feel those in our judicial system should not settle on a biological basis but perhaps on what will be beneficial to all parties directly involved (parent and child). Please take a moment to consider the families who fit into this category, thank you.

    Comments: You'll never know the pain until you loose the rights to your Grandchild!! I did!! Theres no way I could begin to tell you the Hell I went through and him too. Mommy will be coming home soon, been gone way to long. God had a reason to make her the person he wanted to Mold her to be. But sign this because i pray not a one of you ever have to go through this in your lifetime..Especially if you were extremely close and the grandchild was to you too. Trauma is an understatement as to what he went through. Things by the work and Grace of God are better after 2 yrs now. I have to give the Praise & Glory to God Almighty for his answered prayers.

    Comments: I also started a petition on Ipetitions for Grandparents Rights in North Carolina. This is the most important thing in my life right now. Last year we lost our 23 yr old daughter who has a now 5 yr old daughter. We helped our daughter raise our granddaughter for the first four and half years and when she passed her husband with whom she was separated with for 4 years came the see her daughter and just took her without us knowing. We call the police but there wasn't anything that they could do because he is her father. He abused our daughter physically, mentally and emotionally and that is why she left him among other reasons. He also told us when we first met him that his father abused him his brother and his mother up until he was 20 yrs old and now he is taking our granddaughter to him to take care of her while he works 3rd shift. We are scared for her safety as well as her emotional well being. She screams when she has to go back and begs me not to take her back. I can't take it much more and neither can she. We need HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
