The majority of U.S. state courts allow grandparents visitation rights over objecting parents only in limited circumstances. Most states allow grandparents access to visit their grandchildren when the parents are separated, divorced or the parent has passed away..... Not in this case Angel Pittman passed away in 2009 from breast cancer. She left behind three precious children. Since her death, the father of the children remarried within a year and has denied the biological grandmother, Dottie Pittman rights to see her grand children. In Alabama, it is viewed as unconstituional. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. The grandmother took care of the three angels while her daughter was sick and then once he remarried the "new" mommy as she calls herself wants total control and with the help of the dad forbids any of the family from seeing the babies.. Please help put a stop to this terrible, unfair, evil act that is being done to this family. It's time for this to stop and for something to be done. Please pray for this family constantly and especially the children.. it's coming up on one year since the family has last had a real visit with the children.
