I don't know about you guys and how well you've been doing on your homework's but I'm convinced this TA has a grading bias and is very unclear about what deserves a check, check plus, or check minus. She's unable to grade fairly since very similar answers that hit key points on two separate homework's get very different grades for different people. This deserves everyones attention if at any point you've experienced this with your homework's and time after time have gotten back grades that don't justify the answer. Also note there is no answer key for any of us to compare our answers with which is very important since she's made quite a few grading errors on the midterms.Being that its 30% of our grade which is as much as this final is worth, if you believe that the homework assignments deserve a curve like the midterm(which was only 20% of your grade) follow the link provided below and sign the petition so I may address the issue with Dr. Carde. This is important because he doesn't normally curve grades but made an exception for midterm 2 since people didn't do as well as he wanted so its possible to bring the homework's to his attention as well if it's a class wide issue. As long as the petition gets 25 signatures which is half the amount of people in the class, I will personally deliver it to Dr. Carde and hopefully boost all of our grades. Even if Dr. Carde doesn't agree to a curve, I'll ask for an answer key for all of the homework assignments so each of us can check our answers and ask for a regrade on an individual basis. Please only sign if you've experienced this with your own homework and not because you did poorly on the exams since Dr. Carde will check the homework grades specifically and if he decides toimplementa curve it will help out everyone out.
